Although Wood Contracting LLC started as a company in 2016, our team of skilled tradesmen has been providing quality professional excavating services for 40 plus years of combined experience in the industry. We are affordable and dependable; completing jobs to guarantee customer satisfaction. 

 

Adam Wood, Owner Operator

Harbor Beach

Adam was born and raised in Harbor Beach, Michigan and has been a lifelong resident, active in the community and his church since he was born. He purchased his first snow plow from a local vendor and started a snow plowing business in town when he was about 10 years old and would plow snow before and after school. This led to a lawn mower purchase and cutting grass was added to his young entrepreneurial dreams.

He always dreamed of owning his own business, so when the opportunity arose in 2015 he began Wood Contracting LLC. Adam and the owner of Schott Excavating, Matt Schott have a longstanding relationship, both personal and work related, since Adam was a young boy. Adam has helped Matt in the business many years before purchasing it, and Matt continues to help Adam occasionally today. Adam is motivated by helping others and is very active in helping those in his church and community, as well as those seeking services from the business.
